RETURNS POLICY

 

In accordance with Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly distance selling regulations)  If  you are purchasing a ready to wear  item (stated in the description and found in the ready to wear  section of the website, you have 14 working days to return your item for a full no quibble refund. Please contact CMB to advise of your intention to return and include your name and email address in the package.  In this event the item must be returned to us in the same condition in which you received it, it must be unworn/used and it must be sent recorded delivery and proof of postage and tracking acquired. CMB are not responsible for packages lost in transit.

 

Items exempt from our returns policy

 

If you are purchasing a made to order item as indicated in the description & in the pop up notice at checkout, this item will be made to your size and specifications, as such this is a non returnable item, please see below for further details

 

The Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly distance selling regulations) state that goods must be delivered within the time frame agreed with the purchaser, our agreed time frame with you the customer on all made to order items is 15 working days unless otherwise stated.

 

 

If  you have made an error in ordering, please contact CMB immediately (and no later than 24 hours from ordering) to discuss cancellation, failure to do so will result in your garment being cut and will result in the cost of the fabric being deducted from the refund amount.

 

On made to order items, Returns are only accepted for goods deemed to be faulty/unsatisfactory, where a mistake has been made by cmb or for goods mistakenly dispatched.

 

Please inform us immediately upon receipt of any items which are faulty or incorrectly dispatched.

 

failure to read the full description of the item will not constitute a reason for return & refund once your item is made and dispatched.

 

Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly distance selling regulations) state that tailor-made or personalised goods are exempt and cannot be returned.

If the item is faulty/mistakenly sent, then CMB will provide the cost of the return postage, otherwise the return cost is the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

All returns must be sent recorded delivery and proof of postage/tracking number acquired. cmb is not responsible for packages lost in the post 

 

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are permitted on ready to wear items only.

Call me Betty will not charge an additional delivery charge for exchanged items (this applies to the first exchange only). except for delivery addresses without a postcode or other destinations outside of the UK.

 

Please return the goods to us in their original condition, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact within 14 days from when the goods were received.

 

Any items that are returned with markings that result in the garment becoming un-sellable will not be credited and will be returned to you, the cost of the postage will be deducted from your payment method.

 

We reserve the right to return the items without prior notice should the item have markings etc and charge for the postage accordingly.

 

Where you do cancel your order, you are under a duty (until the goods are returned to us) to retain possession of them and take reasonable care of them.

 

Cancelled Orders are refunded also within 7 -14 days of receipt of returned goods.

 

We advise you return the items by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, or another service that requires a signature from us, this insures you in the event of items being missing or lost.

For items valued over £50.00 in value, please return them Special Delivery for Insurance Purposes, or use any other courier which ensures a signature is obtained from us.. 

Note: We will not be held responsible for missing items returned to us. Should your item go missing with Royal Mail, the customer will be responsible for contacting Royal Mail and issuing a claim.

 

Please note we use PayPal for all of our credit/debit card processing, and once the refund has been completed on our system, this will normally take 3 - 5 working days (these days will exclude bank holidays, company holiday shutdowns and weekends) to appear in your account.

All enquiries for security reasons must be e-mailed to betty@callmebetty.co.uk by the cardholder only, we will be unable to discuss any account with a third party for your own security and our support to prevent fraudulant activity
